Is this an original Epiroc part or an aftermarket copy?
It’s genuine Epiroc stock. Same rubber, same profile, same factory QC as the seal fitted when the rig was built.
My rig still says Atlas Copco on the data plate. Will this seal fit?
Yes. The DM45, DM50, DML and PV270 were originally Atlas Copco machines. Epiroc continued that product line. The cabin glass dimensions and frame groove haven’t changed, so this seal drops straight in.
I see both 57540981 and 2657540981 on my order history. Are they the same?
Same part. 57540981 is the current Epiroc number. 2657540981 was the earlier reference. Either number will get you the identical window offset seal.
How do I know if I actually need to replace the seal?
Look for water stains inside the cab after rain or washing, dust settling on the dash near the glass edges, or a whistling noise at roading speed. Also check the rubber itself—if it’s hardened, cracked, or flattened and not pressing against the glass, it’s done.
Can our site mechanic fit this, or do we need a specialist?
Any competent mechanic can do it. It’s a push-fit rubber profile that goes into the window frame channel. No bonding, no special tools. Just take your time to seat it evenly so the offset lip seals against the glass all the way round.
