How do I know my 3128228758 is worn out?
Look for a visible groove along the contact face, uneven wear across the width, or flaking of the hardened layer. If the strip thickness has reduced by more than 1.5–2 mm from original or you’re seeing metal-to-metal contact at the bushing halves, it’s time to swap it. Running a worn strip can score the guide sleeve or housing, turning a cheap fix into a full teardown.
Does this fit Boltec MC or older Copco models?
This sliding piece is validated for the 235, 235h, LC, and MD series. It’s not listed for Boltec MC or earlier Copco 300-series rigs. If you’re unsure, send us your machine serial and photos of the original strip — we can often identify the correct part from wear patterns and mounting bolt spacing.
What else should I replace at the same time?
Usually it makes sense to inspect and replace the mating bushing halves (3128202101, 3128202103, 3128202105) and the guide sleeve (3217827710 / 3217827800) if they show matching grooves. Doing them together brings the cradle clearance back to factory spec and prevents one new part wearing prematurely against an old counterpart.
Is this an original Epiroc part or aftermarket?
