How do I confirm this kit works with my machine?
Start by checking the model on the drifter ID plate. This kit is for Cop 1838+, 1838HD+, and 2238HD+ motors. My motor is leaking externally. Will this fix it?
In most cases, yes—external oil leaks around the shaft or housing joints are caused by worn seals. This kit replaces all the common leak points. If you’ve got internal bypass (low torque, overheating), it’ll address that too. Still, if the housing or shaft is scored, a seal swap won’t cure it. Send us a few photos before ordering if you want a second opinion.
